My Story

"What started out as an afternoon crafting with my mom turned into a dream I never knew I had. "

Hi there. My name is Katie and I am the illustrator and creator of Simply Stated Card Design.

We officially became a business in 2021, but this dream has been a work in progress for several years. It started one afternoon crafting birthday cards with my mom. I discovered a love of making cards and a way to develop my creative side. We began selling our cards at craft shows, vendor events, etc.  I realized that people loved our products, and the dream of Simply Stated Card Design was born. 

My goal is to provide customers with an array of products suited for any occasion. After seeing my friends and family struggle to find an appropriate card to fit a non-traditional situation, I got the inspiration to make a lineup of products that celebrate the awesomeness of different families and connections.

Nowadays  I use digital illustrations, watercolour painting, and other mediums to design unique greeting cards and stationary. We are excited for this next step in our journey, and we can't wait to see where our creativity takes us next!

With my mom by my side, we unleash our cute and sassy products to the stationary enthusiasts worldwide!
